The Infamous Stringdusters – “Rockets” video world premier
Today, The Infamous Stringdusters launch the world premier of their video for “Rockets”, exclusively at CMT Pure. Watch the video here and below. The television premier of the video will take place tonight (4/16), just before 8:30 PM ET on the network’s “CMT Edge” (check local listings).
The song “Rockets” – from the band’s most recent double-disc release, Silver Sky-Deluxe Edition (SCI Fidelity Records, October 16, 2012) – potently demonstrates a band blurring the lines between bluegrass playing technique, pop songwriting sensibilities and country music storytelling. The video, like the song/album, was produced (and filmed and edited) by unlikely partner – hip-hop producer Billy Hume (Ludacris, Nas).
